Memories - Overlay

Overlay remembers useful facts from your chats, such as your role, your preferences and decisions you made, so you do not have to repeat them. Agents keep memories of their own, too.

See what Overlay remembers

Open Settings → Memories. Each memory shows when it was saved and where it came from. Search the list, or filter by person to see an agent’s memories.

Add, edit or delete

Add memory saves one yourself.
Click a memory to edit its text.
Delete removes it; Overlay stops using it straight away.

You can also say it in a chat: “remember that our fiscal year starts in April” or “forget what I said about the Berlin trip”.

Who can see your memories

New memories are private to you by default, even inside a team workspace. Teammates’ searches and agents answering in shared channels do not see them. You can save a memory as shared when it is useful to everyone. An agent’s own memories are shared with the workspace.
